I’m Doing a Live, In-Person Demo this Saturday, 2/19

Howdy folks! If you’re local to the SF Bay Area, I’ll be doing a demo this coming Saturday, 2/19 at the Harrington Gallery, which is at the Firehouse Art Center in Pleasanton. This demo is in conjunction with the California Watercolor Association’s annual show, so you can come and see me and go see the show too! :) I’ll be starting at 100 pm and going to 230 or so.

I’ll be bringing additional framed work for sale as well, which will be available just for the duration of the demo. I’m looking to repaint a recent study (up above), which is a lot of wet into wet work. I’ll be wetting the back of the paper, painting wet into wet, “painting with water”, and glazing. So if you’re interested in those techniques, or in purchasing the final image, this is a good chance to see me in action.

The Firehouse Art Center is located at 4444 Railroad Ave. Pleasanton, CA 94566. You can find out more about the Harrington Gallery here- Harrington Gallery | Firehouse Arts Center. The gallery itself is open from 11 am- 300 pm.

Hope to see some of you there! :)
