May 6-7     Benicia Open Studios-

I will have an array of additional art out for this weekend-long event.  It goes from 10:00-5:00 Saturday and Sunday.  The Benicia Plein Air Gallery will be participating in the Open Studios, as well as a variety of other local galleries and studios.  As such, we'll have additional panels and shade structures up outside to accommodate the crowds and extra art we'll have up for sale.  I anticipate having a much wider variety of paintings available for the weekend.  I will be in Benicia both days of the weekend, painting on site when able, if you'd like to meet up or watch and ask questions while I paint.

May 6       "Fresh Works" Reception, Harrington Gallery

One of my paintings from Hawaii, "A Bird's Life", has been accepted into the Fresh Works show at the Firehouse Art Center in Pleasanton.  This is the same gallery that hosted the CWA show a few months ago, which I participated in.  The reception runs from 100-300, with awards being announced at 1:45.  I anticipate leaving the Benicia Open Studios for a short duration, in order to attend.  The show itself will run until June 3rd.

May 11        Umpqua Bank- Featured Artist Reception

I will be the featured artist at the Umpqua Bank in Benicia for the months of May and June, and the reception will be on Thursday, May 11, from 530-700.  We'll have food and wine.  Normal viewing hours are only during the bank's typical business hours.  The bank features a long 35' wall to display art, and I'll be presenting a variety of larger, oversized pieces that don't fit at the Benicia gallery.
